In 2016 we were honored and humbled to expand into Asia and launch our water project in the Philippines. Our first projects were launched in the indigenous community of Dipontain, Casiguaran Aurora Province. When a powerful hurricane landed in this region, their local source of water was comprised and exposed to contamination. In 2018 we expanded the project with a well in the underserved community of Barangay Bucana, El Nido, Palawan. Huge gratitude to our distribution partners The Primer Group and their regional partners: the Center for Outdoor Recreation & Expedition (CORE) and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
We are very proud to have partnered with out friends at Project 509 on this water project in the remote mountain village of Haiti since 2014. We are very selective in supporting clean drinking water projects that focus on sustainability. Project 509 is a grassroots organization that shares these priorities and values. Founder Jesse Baker has a PHD in Environmental Policy and Sustainability and personally managers and oversees these projects.
